Net is using 1. When I attempted to create a new project, I received the error "Automation server can't create object. FileSystemObject, it was failing. I used regedit and couldn't even view the key. I was allowed to change the permissions but that didn't work until I changed the owner.
Somehow this key and others were changed and I wasn't allowed access to them. Now I can create projects again and I'm a happy camper. I am not sure what you trying to say. I have same problem, I install same script but I don't understand what you do with regedit, what key, what value.

These were the three registry keys I also had problems accessing: Scripting. Encoder and Scripting. It seemed that Scripting. FileSystemObject was the one that prevented me from creating a project in Visual Studio.
Regmon is also how I was able to determine what was happening.
