Temple university kinesiology graduate program

For admission consideration to the Kinesiology PhD program, for either the concentration in Athletic Training or the concentration in Integrative Exercise Physiology, applicants must have a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from an accredited post-secondary institution, with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.

Students applying to the concentration in Athletic Training must be certified athletic trainers via the procedures specified by the Board of Certification. Submit three letters of recommendation from evaluators who can speak to your academic potential for graduate study. Recommenders may be college or university faculty members or a direct supervisor from work. Please mail all of your official transcripts to the following address.

The topic should be relevant to kinesiology, but is otherwise flexible. In addition to its degree programs, the Department of Kinesiology offers a suite of physical activity courses that Temple students of any major can take for credit.
