Some cast sinks will require putty. If no putty is used, insert the sink flange through the rubber gasket, into the sink opening. Do not turn the flange once it is sealed. Insert the flange into the sink opening, press down hard to squeeze out excess putty.
From under the sink, trim off excess putty flush with the bottom edge of the sink opening. With arrows pointing up, screw the support ring onto the sink flange and hand tighten until the sink flange will not move. Attach to the sink flange garburator: — Line up the garburator when elbow is in side outlet pipe under the sink flange. Guide the hopper projections the top of the garburator into the mount ring slots.
Lock mount ring: Turn the mount ring to the right until it lock up tight. Hopper projections the top of the garburator must be to the extreme left of the mounting slot. If the mount ring is hard to turn, you may add a small amount of liquid soap to the hopper projections located on the top of the garburator small square on left and right side. Now you can slide down on discharge elbow soft plastic gasket and tight clockwise with plastic nut to the outlet plumbing pipe.
Connect hose: Connect the dishwasher hose using a universal hose clamp. If the hose size is different, you will need a stepped rubber adapter. Make sure all plumbing connections are tight.
Before running a test to determine if you have a leak under the kitchen sink, place a plastic box, you may also use a flashlight to better your vision.
