The project files were created in a Windows Vista computer and all documents from that person were moved to a different computer that has Windows XP.
Now this person has found that he cannot open his project files in the XP computer. Why he needs them is beyond the point of this topic. He probably wants to use them to make other projects without having to start all over He simply needs to open the original project files in XP but he can't.
That's why I am asking if there is a way to convert them because the Windows Vista version of WMM does not offer the option of saving in a different format like MS Office programs and nearly every other program around that would be compatible with a prior version. Perhaps there is some sort of utility or something that I have not been able to find.
All answers so far relate to creating finished movies and converting formats. I think the original question was clear enough. Sorry about this rant but usually I notice that people ask questions in various forums here and are given tons of answers that do not answer the original question. I know people want to be helpful but in many cases giving a different answer doesn't always help.
